Players Appalachian who came back from the meeting of friends said they did not find any particular game being the super-hit of the Convention. But Ted Cheatham does Telestrations buying, playing parties who have received many favorable comments at the meeting, and we soon gave this game a try.
In Telestrations, players have a word or a random passphrase so they must rely on a small dry-erase board. After all players have completed their drawings, they spend their advice to a player aside, and everyone must guess what it was that their neighbor called.Each player writes the word or phrase on another board and passes around the circle for a player who must then draw as well. This drawing and guessing continues until the drawings and speculation have made their way back to the original artist. This game looks deliberately old phone game in which players repeat a complex message that is inevitable because it is scrambled told again and again.
