The Benefits of Beneficial Organisms

The benefits of beneficial organisms

The effects of micro-organisms on a plant can be profound. These organisms such as Bacillus, Trichoderma any form mycorrhizae and symbiotic relationships with the plant and are in the ground. Bacillus is used worldwide for control of loopers, fungus gnats, insects and fungal opportunistic pathogens. Tricoderma is a fungus that feeds on root rot and seedling blight pathogenic fungi, it also stimulated the plant root and the immune system, which helps the plant fight against fungal attack.Mycorrhizae is a beneficial fungi that colonize the root surface, which helps to keep the fungi to grab up the root system of the plant. Mycorrhizae also help the plant absorb nutrients that are out of reach of plant roots. All of these beneficials feed on plant root system and relieve some nutrients in the culture medium.
