My son's friend got permanent sharpie marker on the white frame of my microwave and I cannot get it off. I have tried bonami, nail polish remover, smooth top stove cleaner, and elbow grease. Any other ideas or does this stuff work? Sharpie recommended

A: Unfortunately you tried all the stuff except the most simple household item. Straight rubbing alcohol will remove the ink completely without much elbow grease, and without marring the surface in any way. Incidentally, it removes all types of ink from
